Paying it forward

Paying it forward is about a young boy Trevor attempting to make the world a better place after his teacher gives him that chance. Trevor’s social studies teacher gives the class an assignment to devise and put into action a plan that will change the world for the better. Trevor thinks deeply and tries to make the world more beautiful. He does a favor for the three people, and the first one is the homeless people. He picks the homeless people to the home, and gives him money. Unfortunately, the efforts are waste, and his plan is failed. However, Trevor doesn’t give up and finds the second people to pay it forward.
Paying it forward is a good way to help others and help you. Take myself for example, when I was in the boarding school, I was commissary in charge of physical labor.

Good Parenting

In the article "What makes a good parent", there are ten competencies that predict good parenting outcomes. Expressing Love and Affection: You support and accept the child, are physically affectionate, and spend quality one-on-one time with him or her. Stress Management: You take steps to reduce stress for yourself and your child, practice relaxation techniques, and promote positive interpretations of events. Relationship Skills: You maintain a positive marital relationship and model effective relationship skills with other people. Autonomy and Independence: You treat your child with respect and encourage him or her to become self-sufficient and self-reliant. Education and Learning: You promote and model learning for your child. Life Skills: You provide for your child, have a steady income, and plan for the future. Behavior Management: You make extensive use of positive reinforcement and punish only when other methods of managing behavior have failed. Health: You model a healthy lifestyle and good habits for your child. Religion: You support spiritual or religious development and participate in spiritual or religious activities. Safety: You take precautions to protect your child and maintain awareness of the child's activities and friends.

Take myself for example; good parenting is expressing love and affection, relationship skills, autonomy and independence and behavior management. My mother always shows how much she loves me, and let me know that I am so important for her. This makes me much more moved, and I will become a habit to express my love. My mother is also a successful woman, not only in her business, but in her life. She is kind to everyone, and tries her best to help her friends. She is my role model, and I can learn from my mother how to be a good person, a good friend, a good daughter. At the same time, she also gives me the enough independence. When I was young, she sent me to the boarding school. She wants me to become independent, and deal with my own things. With her good parenting, I become confident, kind, and optimistic.
